Season two of The Four: Battle for Stardom began with four thrilling performances that had the crowd and music industry giants on the edge of their seats.

‘The Four,’ Caravena Jones, James Graham, Stephanie Zelaya, and Sharaya J, who were hand-picked by industry titans Sean “Diddy” Combs, Meghan Trainor, and DJ Khaled, stepped up to the spotlight to defend their seats on the show from new talent aiming for a shot in The Four.

Jones, a grammy nominated back-up and session singer from Jackson, Mississippi, gained attention after her vocals went viral and were discovered by gospel heavyweight James Fortune. Graham, from Chelmsford, England, was mentored by one of Michael Jackson’s producers Rodney Jerkins. Zelaya, hailing from Guatemala City, Guatemala, underwent prestigious training since a child and has toured with Latin stars, Enrique Iglesias and Alejandro Fernandez. Sharaya J from Atlanta, Georgia got on the scene as a choreographer and has collaborated and toured alongside Missy Elliot in Europe.

Coming back for seconds, the emphasis of the new season was hunger, as Diddy shouted “I want you to send me someone who WANTS TO EAT.” Quite the feast was had on the first episode.

Of the four performances of the night, one contender emerged victorious to replace Caravena, one of ‘The Four,’ while the other competitors were devoured by James and Stephanie, leaving Sharaya J unchallenged for the opening episode.

Catch The Four Thursday nights at 8/7c on FOX to watch the four aspiring stars rise to the challenge and protect their seat.
